The Specialized Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague have announced that on March 24, starting at 11:00, a conference will be held on the progress of the case against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli and others. The session will be held against four former political and military leaders of the KLA, former President Hashim Thaçi, former parliamentary speakers Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Vetevendosje Movement, Rexhep Selimi.
The indictment holds Thaçi, Veselin, Krasniqi and Selimi responsible for a series of crimes allegedly committed in several detention centers during 1998-1999.
