The CEO of Ibër Lepenc, Faruk Mujka, has confirmed to KosovaPress the demolition operation involving 11 houses on the company’s property at Lake Ujman.
“The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Environment is carrying out this operation,” he said.
Mujka said that the 11 people who had built houses on Ibër Lepenc’s property had been asked as early as July 3 to remove all their belongings from the buildings and vacate them by July 17.
“They did not do this, so we notified the inspectorate, and they went there today to carry out the work,” Mujka told KosovaPress. “First, they are expected to remove all the belongings from the houses and then demolish them.”
