The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK Sh.A.) has announced that Unit A4 of the Kosovo A Thermal Power Plant has successfully completed its regular annual maintenance and has returned to operation.
According to the announcement, the unit’s start-up began in the early hours of the morning, around 1:00 AM, while after the completion of technical procedures and necessary checks, Unit A4 was synchronized with the electricity grid at around 5:15 AM.
“The return of Unit A4 to operation strengthens domestic production capacities and increases KEK’s technical readiness as part of preparations for the winter season,” the statement reads.
KEK thanked the management, technical teams, engineers, and all employees of the Kosovo A Thermal Power Plant for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment in successfully completing the maintenance works.
