The acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has stated that he has not yet held any communications with political parties regarding the formation of the new government. With 12 days remaining before the deadline to form the executive, Kurti emphasized that a plan for this will be made in the coming days, reports KosovaPress.
The leader of Vetëvendosje (LVV) was appointed as prime minister by President Vjosa Osmani on October 11. The final deadline to convene a plenary session for the government vote is October 26.
Kurti said that in recent days he has been very busy analyzing the results of the local elections.
“A lot of work these days. We are analyzing the results from the centers. We need to see the contributions that the municipal campaigns had in relation to the results we achieved so that we can begin the runoff campaign as soon as possible. Therefore, yesterday and today I have not yet managed to hold those communications, but we are making a plan for this. We have more than ten days,” he said.
He made these comments on Tuesday after attending the launch of the collective management of music rights.
