As a result of a fault in the electricity supply at the Mitrovica city transformer, to which the “Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri” General Hospital is connected, several hospital wards are currently without power.
It is reported that vital parts of the hospital are being supplied through generators, while emergency services and core functions are continuing without interruption.
In a statement, the hospital said that KEDS teams are on the ground working to repair the fault, and the restoration of electricity supply is expected to take place very soon.
