The Kosovo Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the double murder that occurred yesterday in the village of Gollubovc, Malishevë, where the victims were two adult brothers.
According to the official statement, the incident was reported on November 6, 2025, around 11:30, and police units immediately responded to the scene.
During the investigation, two firearms were found and seized, which are believed to have been used in the tragic incident.
Following intensive investigations and close cooperation with the State Prosecutor, on November 7, 2025, around 06:25, the police arrested the suspect, A.I. (born 1983), a Kosovar male, in the village of Pllaqicë.
After his arrest, the suspect received medical treatment for injuries suspected to have been caused by a firearm. He was transferred for further medical care, while the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
The Kosovo Police stated that the case is being investigated in full coordination with the State Prosecutor, with the aim of clarifying all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
