Early elections will be held on December 28, announced the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
She said this date is also more favorable for the organization of the elections by the Central Election Commission.
“Since I dissolved the Assembly today, January 11 is automatically excluded as a possibility because it is outside the constitutional deadlines that would allow me to use it. Regarding January 4, I have been informed that if elections are held in January, according to the law, since we do not have an approved budget, the CEC would only be allowed one twelfth, meaning just 1 million euros,” she said, KosovaPress reports.
