In the absence of the anonymous witness “A2” from the Special Prosecution, the hearing in the “Banjska” case has been interrupted. The session will resume on Monday at 09:30, with another anonymous witness.
Under tight security measures, the accused Blagoje Spasojević, Vladimir Tolić, and Dušan Maksimović were brought to court today.
The presiding judge, Arben Hoti, stated that conditions were not met to proceed with the judicial review.
“I note that in the absence of the witness, there are no conditions to continue the judicial review. Therefore, the court has decided to interrupt the session and continue on Monday at 09:30 with the next anonymous witness,” he declared.
So far, several police officials have testified in this case regarding the terrorist attack.
On September 11, 2024, Kosovo’s Special Prosecution filed an indictment against Milan Radoičić and 44 others for the terrorist attack that occurred on September 24, 2023, in Banjska, Zveçan, where police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
The defendants are charged with committing a terrorist act, serious crimes against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo, aiding and financing terrorism, and money laundering.
