At today’s meeting, the Central Election Commission (CEC) announced the final results of the elections for members of 37 Municipal Assemblies, which were held on October 12, 2025.
The Chair of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniçi, presented the results showing how many seats in total were won by the political parties in the 37 municipalities of Kosovo.
“Deçan AAK with 11 seats, LDK 6 seats, Democratic Initiative 2 seats, LVV 1 seat, Social Democratic Party 1 seat. In Gjakovë, AAK 11 seats, LVV 7 seats, LDK 5 seats, PDK 5 seats, Albanian Christian Democratic Party 4, Alternativa 1 seat, Egyptian Liberal Party 1 seat and E Vërteta with 1 seat. Gjilan LVV 13 seats, LDK 10, PDK 5, AAK 2 seats, Guxo 1 seat, Serbian List 1 seat. Dragash, LDK 8 seats, PDK 6, LVV 3 seats. In Istog LDK 14 seats, PDK 6, LVV 3, AAK 2. Kaçanik PDK 8, LVV 6, LDK 3, Vision for Kaçanik’s Development 3, AAK 1 seat. In Klinë AAK 13 seats, PDK 9, LDK 4, LVV 1. Fushë Kosovë, LVV 10, LDK 9, PDK 6, Voice of Justice 1 seat, Egyptian Liberal Party 1 seat, Serbian List 1 seat, AAK 1 and NISMA 1 seat. Kamenicë, LVV 9, Social Democratic Party 4, LDK 3, AAK 3, Serbian List 1, PDK 1. South Mitrovica, PDK 13, LVV 7, LDK 4, Guxo 4, FORCA of the Diaspora 1, AKR 1 and NISMA 1 seat,” said Radoniçi.
Meanwhile, in Lipjan, LDK has 16 assembly members, PDK 10, and VV 5, while in Obiliq, VV has 9 assembly members, LDK 9, Serbian List 2, and AAK 1.
Based on these final results, in Rahovec, AAK has 10 assembly members, LDK 7, VV 5, and PDK 5. Pejë, LDK 14, AAK 8, VV 7, PDK 4, Egyptian Liberal Party 1.
In Prishtinë, LDK with 15 assembly members, VV with 12, PDK 12, AAK 5, Lidhja e Prishtinës 4, Guxo 1, Social Democratic Party 1, and NISMA 1.
While in Podujevë, VV has won 15 assembly members, LDK 13, PDK 4, Guxo 1, AAK 1. In Prizren, PDK with 13 assembly members, VV 9, LDK 6, Guxo 1.
In the October 12 elections, in Skenderaj, PDK won 21, VV 3, AAK 1, NISMA 1. In Shtime, LVV won 8 seats for the Municipal Assembly, PDK 7, LDK 5. In Suharekë, AAK has 9 assembly members, LDK 8, PDK 5, VV 4, NISMA 1. In Ferizaj, PDK has 18 assembly members, VV 9, LDK 7, AAK 3, NISMA 1. In Viti, LDK 10, PDK 8, VV 7, AAK 1, NISMA 1. Also, in Vushtrri, PDK has 12 assembly members, VV 8, LDK 7, NISMA 2, Serbian List 1, and AAK 1.
In Malishevë, NISMA has 13 assembly members, PDK 6, LDK 4, VV 3, AAK 1. In Junik, LDK 6, AAK 6, VV 3. And in Hani i Elezit, PDK 6, VV 3, LDK 3, AAK 3.
While in the Serb-majority municipalities, Leposaviq, Serbian List has won 12 seats, Novobërdë 9, LDK 3, LVV 1. In Shtërpcë, Serbian List 12 seats, PDK 2, LVV 1, NISMA 1. In Zubin Potok, Serbian List 11, LVV 1, PDK 1. Zveçan, Serbian List 13 and PDK 1 seat. Graçanicë, Serbian List 13, Albanian Alliance 4. Ranillug, Serbian List 12 seats. And in Partesh, 14 seats. Meanwhile in Kllokot, Serbian List 6 seats, LDK 2, LVV 1, AAK 1, and PDK 1. And in North Mitrovica, Serbian List 10, LVV 1, PDK 1.
In this decision of the CEC, the result of the elections for the Municipal Assembly of Gllogoc (Drenas) is not included, as the Supreme Court has not yet concluded the decision-making process regarding an appeal filed in this institution.
The CEC, in this meeting, also decided to announce the final results of the elections for the Mayors of Prishtinë, Junik, and Mamushë. This decision of the CEC comes after confirmation from ECAP (Election Complaints and Appeals Panel) that the decision-making process regarding appeals for these municipalities has been completed.
In another item on the agenda, the CEC decided to certify the final results of the elections for Mayors of 35 municipalities: Deçan, Gjakovë, Gllogoc, Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kaçanik, Klinë, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenicë, South Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Lipjan, Novobërdë, Obiliq, Rahovec, Pejë, Podujevë, Prizren, Skënderaj, Shtime, Shtërpcë, Suharekë, Ferizaj, Viti, Vushtrri, Zubin Potok, Zveçan, Malishevë, Hani i Elezit, Graçanicë, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot and North Mitrovica. The final results for these municipalities were announced by the CEC on October 25, 2025.
In the second round of elections for mayors, which will be held on November 9, there are 18 municipalities: Gjakovë, Gjilan, Dragash, Kaçanik, Klinë, Fushë Kosovë, South Mitrovica, Obiliq, Rahovec, Pejë, Prishtinë, Prizren, Suharekë, Viti, Vushtrri, Junik, Mamushë, and Kllokot.
