The Acting President of Kosovo and at the same time Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, paid tribute and opened the Book of Condolences in honor of the life and work of academician Rexhep Qosja.
Qosja’s family, in accordance with the late academician’s final wish, did not take part in the ceremony.
Academician Rexhep Qosja passed away yesterday at the age of 89. The giant of Albanian literature had requested that his funeral ceremony be held privately, without media coverage and without flowers.
