1 thousand 977 citizens have been fined by the Kosovo Police for not respecting the antiCOVID-19 measures. Since August 30, when the antiCOVID-19 measures came into force, the police have imposed thousands of fines on citizens. Fines that also raised reactions. New antiCOVID-19 measures were taken on Sunday by the Government of Kosovo due to the increase in the number of deaths and positive cases of coronavirus. Every person entering Kosovo must have proof of full vaccination or a single dose or a negative RT-PCR test done within 72 hours. The curfew continues to be in effect from 22: 00-05: 00, except in emergencies. Teaching activity in public and private institutions of pre-university education, including pre-school and day care institutions, is suspended until September 26, while gastronomy is allowed to conduct its activity from 05: 00-21: 30. Regardless of the number of persons, the activity of night clubs is prohibited, as well as the organization of festivals, concerts, excursions, pilgrimages, weddings, engagements, family and social parties, throughout the territory of Kosovo.
