The anti-COVID measures have significantly restricted the movement between citizens in different states. This is also reflected in the visits of the diaspora in Kosovo, where there is a significant decline.

The GAP Institute issued an analysis, based on the data of the Prishtina International Airport "Adem Jashari" and the Kosovo Insurance Bureau for the period January-August 2020. According to this analysis, for the same period, the number of foreign visitors to Kosovo was about 62.5% lower than in 2019.
