Abdixhiku speaks as chairman of the LDK: We will return as the main political force
The newly elected chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has vowed to restore the LDK as the main political force in the country. Abdixhiku in front of the delegates who elected him called for unity in the LDK, as it has no people to lose. "Today we are opening a new page to return the LDK to its place. From ourselves we must begin our great return. The ideas of the LDK withstand the test of time, ideas which were started by the historic president Ibrahim Rugova. In his first speech as president, Abdixhiku also criticized the Vetevendosje Movement, calling it leftist policies aimed at the dissolution of Kosovo.
