The President of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku commemorates the 22nd anniversary of the beginning of the NATO bombing. "It has been 22 years since NATO military intervention on Yugoslav targets; and thus, the beginning of the end of the suffering of the oppressed people in Kosovo. March 24, 1999 marks a new momentum for Kosovo and for the centuries-old struggle for freedom. This momentum paved the way for freedom and the country's independence. Therefore, the citizens of Kosovo are always grateful to the western world, the US with allies, who through NATO gave the long-awaited hope ", said Abdixhiku.
