The Democratic League of Kosovo today officially opened the campaign for the parliamentary elections on February 9, criticizing the current government for theft and mismanagement, while promising billions of euros in investments for the next four years.

On the occasion of the campaign launch, the LDK also presented its team of 110 candidates for MPs.
The LDK's candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, vowed that every cent of the money stolen by the current government will be returned, while accusing the latter of theft, propaganda, and attacks on the media and free speech.
In front of thousands of supporters, Abdixhiku started that "in the republic we dream of, the prime minister does not place himself above the prosecution and does not protect thieves."

“In our republic, in the one we dream of, the prime minister is not above the prosecution, the prime minister does not protect thieves, in our republic the government does not attack the media, journalists, and free speech. We are a free nation, we love freedom, we will defend freedom as always. In our republic, propaganda does not replace reality with fictitious tables full of deception. In our republic, the only table is that of Kosovar families who live, work, and strive for a dignified and honest life. In our republic, the government does not violate the constitution 10 times to brag, and 100 times not being ashamed. And theft, robbery, and crime are not measured by comparison with the past, but are punished because theft is theft, stealing is stealing, and stealing Kosovo's food will be punished before the country, before God, and before the state itself... Let us tell you loudly from this hall to every corner of Kosovo, every cent of the stolen money will be r eturned, because February 9 is coming, change is coming," said Abdixhiku.
