The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has requested from the Government of Kosovo the abolition for a period of five months of excise on oil, the abolition of tax on basic products of the household basket and direct or indirect support to maintain the economic chain, ensure supply or commodity contracts and market control. The MP of this party, Pal Lekaj, said that this should be done due to high inflation in Kosovo. In the face of the crisis, he has criticized the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and the ministers of the economic departments, saying that Kurti is on an excursion while the respective ministers are nowhere to be seen. He said in a press conference that Kosovo's economy is on the verge of collapse and urgent measures must be taken.
