Her help during and after the war for Kosovo and its people are the reason why the Municipality of Podujeva has named a street in the city after the former MEP, Doris Pack.

The former MEP, Pack, who was proud of this event, said that she will contact her colleagues in the European Parliament to help the people of Kosovo.

According to her, Kosovo deserves to be a member of the Council of Europe and hopes that it will happen soon.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the Municipality of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, has emphasized that on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Podujeva, one of the activities of June 19 is the announcement of former MEP Doris Pack as an honorary citizen.

Bulliqi added that the people of Kosovo will always be "in debt" to Pack's contribution, and this, according to him, is the least this country can do for the former MEP.

The street in Podujeva named "Doris Pack" starts from the intersection of "Agron Rrahmani" and "Ali Ajeti" streets to the intersection with "Bedri Bajrami" and "Fahri Fazliu" streets.
