Major Luljeta Mehmeti-Quigley has successfully graduated from the FBI National Academy as part of the 296th Session, in a ceremony held at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Police, she is part of a select group of senior law enforcement officials who complete this prestigious program and is among the few in the history of the Kosovo Police to have graduated from the FBI National Academy.
Nationally and internationally, less than one percent of law enforcement officers have the opportunity to attend this elite executive training.The FBI National Academy offers an intensive 11-week program focused on leadership, communication, behavioral sciences, physical fitness, and contemporary policing practices. Participants are selected based on demonstrated professional performance and leadership potential, and on average have over 20 years of law enforcement experience.
The 296th Session consisted of 254 officers representing 47 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, as well as officers from 24 countries worldwide, four military organizations, and two federal civilian agencies, highlighting the Academy’s strong international and interagency character. Major Mehmeti-Quigley’s graduation reflects her professionalism, leadership, and commitment to service within the Kosovo Police.This achievement strengthens the institutional capacities of the Kosovo Police and reinforces its commitment to modern, democratic, and internationally aligned policing standards, directly contributing to increased public safety for all communities in Kosovo.
