Today in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, under the chairmanship of President Glauk Konjufca, a meeting was held for the formation of the Ad-hoc Committee for electoral reform. A press release states that representatives of parliamentary groups signed the joint statement on the establishment of this committee and also agreed on the formula for the composition of the committee. The political representatives expressed consensually the will to undertake the necessary reforms, which guarantee the implementation of the best democratic electoral practices. It was also mentioned that in addition to this committee, an Advisory Group will be established, which will consist of representatives of civil society who have dealt with electoral reform, as well as the EU and the OSCE.
