The Kosovo police have arrested a person suspected of embezzling someone else's property. The 23-year-old had borrowed a car from another person, which he then sold in Lipjan.

His arrest was made on Sunday at 19:20 by the Station Police on "Sali Çeku" street in Ferizaj.

"The investigative police, after an intensive investigative work, gathering information in the field, have arrested the person L.Q (M/K) aged 23, who had taken a car from the person E.J (M/K) aged 22 years old, he had sold it in the city of Lipjan to another person... From the first investigations, according to the complainant, two suspects took two vehicles into service and were not reported again. The first suspect L.Q was escorted to the police station in Ferizaj and after being interviewed by the investigating police, by the decision of the prosecutor of the case, he was detained for 48 hours for further procedures. The case has been described as 'Misuse of foreign property', while the car has been returned to the owner", the communiqué states.

Another person is still wanted by the police for embezzlement of foreign property for another vehicle against the same owner.
