Albanian citizen arrested after Egyptian migrants found in truck trailer
In Veternik, Prishtina, an Albanian citizen has been arrested after five Egyptian migrants were found in the trailer of his truck.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 15:00.
The migrants have now been sent to the asylum camp, while the suspect has been placed in detention.
“Veternik, Prishtina 21.04.2026–15:00. The male suspect, a citizen of Albania, was arrested after five migrants, Egyptian nationals, were found during a search in the trailer of his truck. By decision of the prosecutor, the suspect has been placed in detention, while the migrants have been sent to the asylum camp,” the Police report states.
