Albanian Prime Minister and leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, said today from Vlora that a new chapter is beginning for the Socialist Party (SP) in this district.
During an inspection visit regarding the clearing of public spaces in Vlora, Rama stated that the party will open up completely to bring in new members, emphasizing that no "parasite" can claim anything from the SP.
"A new chapter will begin for the Socialist Party in Vlora, where two new co-chairs have been appointed—Erjona and Klevis. Erjona is also a Member of Parliament, while Klevis is here in Vlora to keep the Socialist Party’s headquarters continuously open. Their duty closely reflects the spirit and principles I mentioned," he said.
He went on to say that in Vlora, there are no left or right political divisions—in his view, there are only “parasites” and people who are committed and ready to serve the city.Earlier this week, Rama held a meeting on Thursday with the new MPs from the Vlora district, as well as the city’s mayor and deputy mayors.
