Citizens continue to disregard measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In the last 24 hours alone, the Kosovo Police has imposed 619 fines. Meanwhile, according to the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), 223 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the country. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1001 samples taken from UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 223 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours, 8 deaths have been reported with SARS CoV-2 positive.
