6 dead with COVID in Kosovo in the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1281 samples taken from the HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which, 206 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours 6 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Deaths are from the municipalities: Fushe-Kosova 2 cases (71, 74 years old), Prishtina 2 cases (77, 72 years old), Mitrovica 1 case (74 years old), Prizren 1 case (73 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 53,982 out of 198,342 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,383. During the last 24 hours, 389 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 46,648 cases, while the number of active cases is 5,951.
