46-year-old woman dies in Shtime after falling from balcony
A tragic incident occurred last night in Shtime, where a 46-year-old woman died after falling from the third floor of a building.
Police spokesperson for the Ferizaj Region, Kanun Veseli, said the victim was initially taken for medical treatment but later succumbed to her injuries.
"At around 6:50 p.m. last night, police received a report that a woman had fallen from the third floor of a building on '12 Qershori' Street in Shtime. A police patrol immediately responded to the scene and found the injured 46-year-old woman. The Shtime emergency medical team also arrived and transported her to the Family Medicine Center in Shtime for treatment. At approximately 7:20 p.m., police were informed that the injured woman had passed away," he said.
Veseli added that the woman is suspected to have fallen accidentally along with the building's metal railing.
"By order of the prosecutor, the body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina for an autopsy," he said.
