27-year-old arrested for causing bodily harm in Shtime, injured person sent to Kosovo's main hospital
One person has been arrested on suspicion of causing bodily harm following a fight that occurred on Sunday evening in Shtime.
Kosovo Police said that on July 27, at around 10:10 p.m., they received information about a fight on Imer Devetaku Street in Shtime.
Following the report, police units and investigators went to the scene, where they escorted the suspect, M.A., 27, to the police station.
The injured person initially received medical treatment at the Emergency Center in Shtime, before being transferred to the Regional Hospital in Ferizaj and, due to the nature of the injuries, sent for further treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK) in Pristina.
The suspect was interviewed in the presence of a defense lawyer and, by order of the state prosecutor, was detained for 48 hours.
The case is being investigated by the Investigation Sector of the Shtime Police Station.
