Today marks 22 years since the Battle of Llapashtica, a battle in which 10 martyrs of the Llap region died heroically. It was December 24, 1998, when the incessant battles in the Llap Operational Zone began, while Llapashtica was transformed into an invincible fortress for three consecutive months. During the Battle of Llapashtica, on December 24, 1998, the martyrs of the nation from the ranks of the KLA gave their lives for our country: Isa Havolli, Ismet Derguti, Skender Zenjullahu, Miftar Zenjullahu, Lulzim Jashari, Bajram Murati, Avni Selmani, Fatmir Selmani, Remzi Demolli and Jetullah Kastrati.
