10 deaths and 311 new cases of COVID-19

According to the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), 10 deaths and 311 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. Among the victims is a 29-year-old from Lipjan. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,903 samples taken from HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 311 cases resulted positive. The total number of positive cases is 58,399 out of 221,663 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,466. During the last 24 hours, 128 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 51,081 cases, while the number of active cases is 5,852.
