1 thousand 879 citizens in Kosovo were fined because they did not respect the antiCOVID-19 measures taken by the government. Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 came after the situation worsened by this virus, where the number of deaths and positive cases marked an increase. The antiCOVID-19 measures entered into force on 30 August. The measures taken were in force for two weeks, while on Sunday, September 12, the government decided on new measures which will be in force until September 26. Every person entering Kosovo must have proof of full vaccination, a single dose or a negative RT-PCR test done within 72 hours. The curfew continues to be in effect from 22: 00-05: 00, except in emergencies.
