The current mayor from the Civic Initiative for Obiliq, Xhafer Gashi, has managed to win another mandate at the head of this municipality. Until now, about 90 percent of the votes have been counted, Gashi managed to win over 60 percent of the votes against the LVV candidate, Halil Thaçi who managed to get only 35 percent of the votes.
