In a press conference after the meeting with USAID Assistant Administrator Erin E. McKee, she said that cooperation with USAID is a concrete example of the commitment of the United States and the American people to the country and that a more developed and stronger Kosovo is the common goal.
Speaking about USAID's investments, the head of state said that USAID has invested over 1 billion dollars in our country, and that together with other projects of the American government, the investments reach up to two billion dollars.
Meanwhile, speaking about Kosovo's successes during 16 years as an independent state, Osmani said that our Republic is among the best reformers in the global indices for the rule of law and the preservation of democracy.She also added that efforts are being made to translate these successes into economic benefits for Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Erin E. McKee, said that she is satisfied with the progress of Kosovo and that the country is making great progress in creating economic opportunities for all communities, especially for women and minority entrepreneurs.
She also said that USAID's commitment to the people of Kosovo will remain steadfast, despite the fact that there may be cases of disagreement with "special governments".She did not forget to mention the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which she said is the only way forward for integration into Euro-Atlantic structures and that USAID's support will remain steadfast for Kosovo.
