Trepça miners on strike again after not receiving salaries: We are tired, we will go to Prishtina on foot
About 1 thousand miners of the Trepça mine in Stanterg, but also of other mines of Trepça, have stopped working today and are staying in the restaurant premises of this factory, thus expressing their dissatisfaction with salaries. Gani Osmani, chairman of the Workers' Union of this company, told KosovaPress that some workers received 70 percent of January salaries, while others did not receive any payments at all.
According to him, now the workers were supposed to receive their salaries for February, which were also not allocated. He said that if there is no positive response to this issue from the institutions, the workers will go to Pristina on foot.
