For the third day in a row, thousands of people have protested in Skopje against the French proposal to lift the Bulgarian veto, which would pave the way for the start of North Macedonia's membership negotiations with the European Union, and therefore also Albania’s. A group of protesters, led by elements of the Left party, and Dimitar Apaciev, pushed the barriers placed in front of the government building. They then threw plastic bottles, eggs and toilet paper at the building, entered the yard, despite the police's efforts to stop them. After that, instead of dispersing, the protesters went to the parliament building where they knocked down the metal fences and threw various items at the police units that were there.
