The Ombudsman has received complaints from citizens regarding the election process related to verification of applications abroad, difficulties in downloading ballot forms from the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC), non-inclusion of citizens with the right to vote in the list of voters as well as the non-receipt via e-mail of complaints by the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP).  Voters abroad have addressed a request to extend the deadline for receiving ballots sent by mail. In this regard, the Ombudsman has called on the CEC to review these requests and that no one be deprived of the right to vote.
