Today, in the early hours of the morning, it was reported about the murder of a woman in Peja, which is suspected to have been committed by her husband.

Regarding this case, the Chief Prosecutor of Peja, Agim Kurmehaj, stated that the suspect's weapon was seized and that he is currently providing information regarding the act.

For KosovaPress, Kurmehaj said that the motives of the murder are still unknown and that the suspect is in the police station, for which he is being interviewed in connection with the incident.

Kurmehaj said that he was at the scene of the incident, whereas he described it as a serious case, indicating that the couple were parents of three children.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the suspect surrendered to the police, admitting that he committed the murder of his wife.

After the killing of a woman by her husband in Peja, the Collective for Feminist Action and Thought protested at the Women Peace Security Forum, which is being held under the organization of President Vjosa Osmani.

Meanwhile, not even a week has passed since the murder of the 21-year-old in Ferizaj, which is suspected to have been committed by her ex-husband at the Center for Social Work.
