For two decades in Kosovo, seven electoral processes have been organized. While the snap elections of February 14, are the eighth in a row. The largest number of certified candidates to participate in the elections was in 2001, while the smallest number of candidates was in 2017. At 18:00 on Saturday, was the deadline for submitting lists of candidates for MPs for certification for the February 14 election. There are 28 political entities that have submitted application lists, while the total number of candidates for MPs of these political entities is 1079. The spokesman of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, tells KosovaPress how many candidates there have been for MPs during these two decades.
