The Government of Kosovo took a number of decisions at Wednesday's meeting. The executive disbursed an additional 100 euros for the month of October to pensioners, while they also changed the draft law on the criminal code and the one on criminal procedure, where the punishments for criminal offenses, rape, sexual harassment and domestic violence are toughened.
Presenting the support to pensioners, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bisilimi, said that this amount is one-time and its cost is over 28 million euros.
She said that the person who commits violence, sexual harassment and domestic violence will be barred from running for any public position for 3 to 10 years, and will also be barred from the right to use a vehicle and his direction.
