The Assembly of Kosovo has not approved the draft law for regulating the price of medicinal products, proposed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo. 19 MPs voted in favor, 42 against and two abstained, including the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca. The excuse of the MPs of the parliamentary majority was that such a draft law, but prepared by the Government of Kosovo, will come to the Assembly in autumn of this year. While the opposition has requested that such an initiative be approved, as according to them it would stop abuses in the drug market. According to PDK, this law would also help households cope with rising prices.
