The Central Election Commission has prohibited polling station managers from speaking to the media. An hour and a half after the polling stations opened in Gjilan, the MEC informed them not to comment on the election process. This was announced by the manager of the voting center in the school "Thimi Mitko", Sevdije Sadiku. The latter had previously announced that so far 218 citizens have voted. While in this center have the right to vote about 16 thousand citizens. The Municipal Election Chairman in Gjilan, Ferid Shabani confirmed for KosovaPress that the CEC has decided that managers should not give statement to the media. However, he states that the reason is not known. In the municipality of Gjilan, over 101 thousand citizens have the right to vote in 34 polling centers and over 120 polling stations.
