Great Britain's ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, said that they support the LGBT community and same-sex marriages, adding that everyone should be equal before the law. He has spoken to the MPs of the Human Rights Committee to whom he told that they should think about society regardless of their personal beliefs. In this context, the ambassador said that Kosovo's aim for membership in the Council of Europe should also be remembered, which according to him, the issue of the Civil Code will bring many questions.

After waiting 15 minutes for the MPs to come to the committee meeting, Ambassador Abbott told them that he wants to talk about the Civil Code and how the people's representatives see the solution to this issue.
