Tahiri: These candidacies should be withdrawn; the president is trying to be elected in a shameful way
The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Abelard Tahiri, after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo, called on the majority to withdraw the two candidacies for the post of president. While emphasizing that the country does not need new elections, Tahiri stated that today there is an attempt to elect the president in a shameful way.
Tahiri considered today's meeting of the Presidency strange and without a clear agenda. The head of the PDK parliamentary group reiterated that this political entity will not contribute to the election of Vjosa Osmani as the head of state of Kosovo. According to him, in this position should be people who convey unity and not divisive persons.
