The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama on Monday will hold several meetings in Brussels. The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, will initially meet with Josep Borrel, EU Minister for Foreign Affairs. The agenda also includes a meeting with Ursula Von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. The progress of Albania's progress towards EU integration, as well as the progress of the use of EU funds for reconstruction after the earthquake are two of the issues to be discussed. This visit of the Prime Minister to Brussels comes after some critical attitudes from Rama in addressing the EU for the unfair way of distributing the anti-covid vaccine by the EU and leaving the Western Balkans in oblivion. A few days ago, the Prime Minister announced a visit to the EU, which has donated a quantity of vaccines for our country without revealing its name.
