No project-proposal for the monumental "Adem Jashari" square has been supported by the Jashari family, for this reason, this month the Municipality of Pristina will open a new call for this issue.

This was stated by the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, during a press conference where he presented the achievements of his government for 2024 and plans for 2025.
He said that the funds have now been allocated and the competition will be reopened in January.

"We had the open call and we have had project proposals as part of the project, we have also been sensitive to the issue of Adem Jashari's family, and we have had the family representative, and based on the process, the family has not seen any project that deserves to move forward, for this reason we have not moved forward, despite all the projects that have been received. However, we have allocated the budget of 150 thousand euros again, to reopen the call again and we will do this this month", said Rama.
