The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, in the framework of her visit to Costa Rica, today met with Uzra Zeya, US Undersecretary of State for Civil Security, Democracy and Human Rights in the Administration of President Joe Biden. With Undersecretary Zeya, President Osmani, talked about Kosovo's progress in fulfilling the commitments within the Summit for Democracy and the intensification of Kosovo-US cooperation. "President Osmani spoke about the establishment of the Council for Democracy and Human Rights as evidence of the commitment of Kosovo institutions to fulfill the commitments within the Summit for Democracy, including strengthening the rule of law, democracy, the role of women in Kosovo society, the advancement of human rights and freedoms as well as cooperation with civil society and the media", it is said in a communiqué issued by the Presidency.
