The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo has recommended the suspension of two police officers on suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense "Abuse of official position or authority". The investigations started days earlier when the PIK investigators had received information that the commander of the Prizren station with the rank of major and the commander of the Zhur police station with the rank of sergeant had intervened without authorization in a traffic violation fine. It is  suspected that the article and paragraph have been changed, then the value of the fine has been changed. The suspicions are that during the unauthorized intervention, the negative points were removed and, the driving ban and confiscation of the driver's license was revoked. PIK investigators in full coordination with the State Prosecutor's Office, will continue to undertake other investigative actions towards full clarification of all the circumstances related to this case, it is said in a press release.
