Kosovo Assembly member Vjosa Osmani recalled March 24, 1999, when 22 years ago NATO began bombing the Serbian army and police. In a Facebook status, Osmani described this day as a day of hope, saying that “when the Serbian government was aiming at the extermination of Albanians in Kosovo, the United States, the United Kingdom, EU member states and the NATO Alliance decided to prevent such a thing by ending Serbia's genocidal regime."
