On Tuesday, incumbent President Vjosa Osmani began meetings with representatives of political parties to consult on the date of the snap elections, after the Constitutional Court ruled that the Hoti government had been illegally elected. Osmani will continue these consultations with political parties on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Osmani initially received the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti. Whereas, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, in this meeting convened by Osmani sent only their representatives, so the party leaders did not go for consultations. As an appropriate election date, the LDK proposed February 7, while the end of January was proposed by the PDK.
