On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence, the acting president, Vjosa Osmani, together with the candidate for prime minister from the Vetevendosje Movement, paid homage at the grave of the national activist, Adem Demaçi. Osmani said that Demaçi is the symbol of the resistance of the Albanians, who has placed collective freedom before individual freedom. Osmani and Kurti on the 13th anniversary of the proclamation of Kosovo as a state, have also paid homage to the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova.
