The “Kalabria” neighborhood in Prishtina, 75 percent of the Municipality of Fushe Kosova, and some other places which are supplied by the Ibar canal are having problems with the supply of drinking water. This is because the Regional Water Company "Prishtina" has reduced water production in the water treatment plant in Shkabaj, as the water there is turbid. This was announced for KosovaPress by the spokesperson of RWC "Prishtina" Arjeta Mjeku. Mjeku says that heavy rains have increased the water level in Lake Batllava and Badovc by two meters. Mjekur also points out that the water quality department is monitoring the situation on the ground, as well as the water quality.
