EU Foreign Policy and Security Spokesman Peter Stano has reacted following reports showing a map of Europe with Kosovo as part of Serbia in the office of Envoy Miroslav Lajcak. Stano wrote on the social network Twitter that the EU has a neutral status in this issue and according to him, in Kosovo they should deal more with dialogue and problems around it. “The claim about the map is totally misplaced & false. This official EU map is in line with the Flag of European Union position – status neutral. I would recommend everyone to focus on real issues that help to advance the Dialogue on normalization, instead of trying to make up false stories”, Stano wrote. The map was spotted when the EU special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue gave an interview from Brussels to the European Western Balkans Platform.
